Our Pastors

Pastor Andy Petro, a Michigan native, has been living and pastoring in Nebraska since 1999. He is a graduate of William Tyndale College in Farmington Hills, MI and of Trinity Theological Seminary. Andy entered full-time ministry after working in advertising for 12 years. He currently serves as the Regional Director of the Great Plains Region, which has churches throughout the Midwest. He and his wife Ramona have six children and 11 grandchildren.

Pastor Nathan Schmidt was born and raised in Newton, KS.  After graduating from Vennard College with a degree in Bible/Theology and Pastoral Ministry he spent 25 years ministering in Bolivia through World Gospel Mission preaching, teaching, training leaders and making disciples.  In October, 2020, Nathan began as lead pastor at NEMC.  Nathan has been married to Amy since 2000 and together they have three daughters.
